About Us

Mesquite Ranch is a community of 619 homes in the southeast corner of Tucson, Arizona. The homes in Mesquite Ranch were constructed in the early 2000’s by four builders in four quadrants. The east and west halves of the community are divided by a walking path, while the north and south are divided by two pools and common areas. There are large grassy areas adjacent to each of the pools, and three shaded play areas. There is a volleyball court, a basketball court, and four pocket parks, one in each quadrant of the neighborhood. The two pools each have a covered patio area and two gas grills. Instructions on how to reserve the pool area for your party are included on the Resources and Forms page of this site.

The Mesquite Ranch Homeowners Association was incorporated in 2001 and set up to provide architectural control of the subdivision and maintenance of the community common areas. The community is governed by the Declaration of Covenants, Conditions, Restrictions and Easements (CC&Rs). The HOA Board of Directors is responsible for upholding the CC&Rs and maintaining the common areas. Funds for maintenance and improvements come from quarterly assessments (currently $105/quarter) of each property within the community. The HOA board holds 3 to 4 meeting a year including the annual meeting.  Notice is sent out via email.

In addition to the Homeowners Association, Mesquite Ranch also has a Neighborhood Association (MRNA). Both associations have their own volunteer Boards of Directors consisting of members of the community. MRNA works closely with the city government as a liaison to our community. They plan and host community events such as big screen movie nights, yard sales, and community cleanups (annual dumpster placement). The MRNA meets on the first Saturday of each month from 9:30 to 10:30 am at the east pool. Meetings are suspended during the winter months (Nov-Jan). All residents are welcome to attend.

The HOA and MRNA are separate entities with different responsibilities, but they share a common goal of ensuring a safe, beautiful and friendly neighborhood. This website primarily pertains to the HOA. The MRNA link at the upper-right corner of the site (below the weather and Search windows) will take you to the Neighborhood Association’s page. The Events page (link at bottom-left of each page on the site) contains entries for both associations.
